“The staff at Boyette Strategic Advisors are all top-notch and extremely conscientious in their work. On our project, they were committed to delivering a quality product, and we have been extremely pleased with their professionalism, knowledge, and finished product.”
Boyette Strategic Advisors completed a workforce analysis of the 14-county Commerce Corridor region of Southeast Missouri. This project was designed to quantify and qualify the regional and three sub-regional workforces and recommend program and policy changes that will enhance the long-term competitiveness of the workforce and the 14-county region.
The project included both primary and secondary research, including gathering demographic and employment data; reviewing previous studies conducted for the region; gathering stakeholder input through interviews, discussion groups and surveys; completing a training inventory of education and training offerings in the region; and completing a strategic analysis of all information to determine trends, assets, challenges and gaps of the region’s workforce.
Following the strategic analysis, Boyette Strategic Advisors made recommendations to the Commerce Corridor region to enhance its workforce and address any gaps that may be identified through the research. In addition marketing profiles were developed for the region, based on a series of key messages about workforce strengths, to use in providing business prospects with a thorough understanding of the data points important to their location decision.
