Crossroads Coalition Strategic Blueprint

The Crossroads Coalition (Crossroads), a regional economic development organization representing 10 counties in Eastern Arkansas, engaged Boyette Strategic Advisors to develop a Strategic Blueprint (Blueprint) focused on enhancing current efforts to attract jobs and promote the 10-county region as a business location. Development of the Blueprint involved the following:
- Conducting an assessment of the region and its assets through economic and demographic research and facilitated group discussions and interviews with economic development professionals, community stakeholders, the region’s legislative delegation and leadership of statewide organizations.
- Identification of six targeted business sectors.
- Development of strategic recommendations for the Crossroads to attract and grow such sectors that address economic development, education and workforce, community development and leadership.
- Development of strategic communications and marketing recommendations to positively impact the perception of the community among key target audiences, including sales-oriented marketing profiles.
- Establishment of performance measures related to the visions, goals and objectives of the Blueprint.
Following delivery of the Blueprint, Boyette Strategic Advisors developed an Implementation/Action Plan designed to provide a roadmap for achieving the goals outlined in the Blueprint.
