The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) asked Boyette to partner with TVA to develop a unique community development authority to strengthen economic and community development efforts throughout its service area. Boyette developed the Valley Targeted and Prepared Community Program (Valley TaP), which offers an innovative strategic planning process to benefit communities in the TVA region. This process includes an in-depth evaluation of a communityÕs resources and strengths to target and recruit specific industry segments, which could result in additional jobs and investments. Communities are selected through an annual application and independent evaluation process, which is administered by Boyette.
