The Metro Texarkana region is unique in its location with the Arkansas/Texas state line dissecting the community. Local community leaders were eager to take a more strategic and unified approach to economic development for the region, while considering the challenges and opportunities presented by its unusual situation.
Boyette Strategic Advisors conducted in-depth research to identify the Texarkana region’s core competencies and evaluate the community’s existing economic development potential. Boyette Strategic Advisors recommended four target industries for Texarkana to pursue. In addition to specific recommendations related to the target industries, Boyette Strategic Advisors also provided the Texarkana region with additional recommendations designed to enhance their overall economic development efforts.
